Experience

With nearly a decade of experience in the TV industry, Phoebe brings both the creative vision and practical know-how to turn ambitious ideas into reality. She naturally thinks outside the box, a skill that proved invaluable when coordinating and setting up challenges on Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars (think The Apprentice, but with food and drink). She has built strong relationships with major clients like MARS, even persuading the global brand to allow filming of contestants creating and pitching their own chocolate bars to senior executives.

Phoebe is experienced in setting up and organising shoots for each episode, including securing location access, managing expert time, and developing challenges. She has also demonstrated her ability to step beyond her role when needed, for example, when resources were limited, she single-handedly developed, organised, set up, and monitored a large-scale shoot in Wales involving 80 crew members, Gordon Ramsay, and 11 contenders. Her leadership on this demanding production earned her a commendation from the Executive Producer.

Problem-solving under pressure has become second nature to her, and she consistently delivers on shows that leave viewers wondering, “How on earth did they pull that off?”

Another notable area of experience, which ties directly into her script editing work, is her time working closely with the writing team on The Russell Howard Hour. Phoebe regularly monitored daily news to stay across current affairs, filtered this information, selected relevant clips for the scriptwriters, structured news events into script outlines, researched key topics, pitched sketch ideas, and assisted with creative montages to enhance each episode. She worked to extremely tight turnarounds, sourcing specific clips for writers and rapidly editing scripts in response to breaking news, often on the day of filming. She also has a keen eye for identifying interesting, relevant, and comedic stories.
